We have a whole host of activities to get your adrenaline pumping and as a group you’d probably be interested in some of the following: clay shooting, quad bike trekking, canoeing, fishing, gorge swimming or our aerial assault course.

We would be delighted to help you plan your boys day out - just email groups@rothie.net the activities you want to do and we can help you plan everything (of course we accept no responsibility for any cheeky fancy-dress ideas though!).

For those of you who need a few ideas we have put together some sample itineraries for you:

Flinging and Swimming
For the competitive edge why not stage your own Scottish Highland Games?  Ably assisted by our international Highland Games' competitors; we will set up and run a genuine Highland Games for you. Once the competition is over cool off by jumping into a Highland stream and following it up the hill as it cascades down rocky slabs, over small waterfalls and through pools? Equipped with wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets fight your way upstream against the flow, clambering up small waterfalls, swimming through calmer sections and jumping into deep pools. When you reach the top just turn round and float or slide back down to the start. Minimum 7 people, £79pp.

White Water Challenge
We challenge you to slip into a wetsuit and head off on a full day of adrenaline packed, white water fun with a combination of Adventure River Tubing and White Water Rafting. All equipment, lunch and transport provided for £99 per person, for a tiny extra charge we can even supply a BBQ for lunch! Minimum numbers apply,

Aiming High
Get your game face on during a challenging clay shooting competition and test your nerve on our aeriel assault course TreeZone, take a load off and finish with a quad bike trek accross the Estate. All equipment required is provided at £109 per person and packed lunches can be supplied at an extra £10 per person.Minimum of 8 per booking.

The Laird's Lunch
Who will catch the dinner whilst you compete amoungst yourselves to catch the heaviest Rainbow Trout? Under the watchfull eye of our expert instructors at the Rothiemurchus Fishery have an hour's lesson followed by an hour's fishing to put your skills into practice. Enjoy a picnic lunch whilst down at the fishery before heading up to the clay shooting ground for the final competition of the day and see who can hit the most birds! All equipment provided and lunch included at £90 per person. For an extra £45 per person we can run a mini Highland games for you to really sort the men from the boys!
